The third static model contest at the Novegro Exhibition Park. In association with the most important Italian modeling realities, Novegro Model Contest is a contest open to all categories: Aircraft models, Aircraft dioramas, Fantasy, Figurines, Military vehicles, Military Dioramas, Plastic Ships, Wood ships, Sci-Fi, Civil Vehicles, Civil Dioramas, Warhammer, WIP (Work in Progress), Juniores
Daily tickets cost 5 euros and they are available exclusively at the box office.

What will there be at the fair?
Novegro Model Contest returns to Parco Esposizioni Novegro on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 April!
The event, organised in collaboration with IPMS Legnano, Crazy Modelers – Centro IPMS Milano Nord, Modeldiscount and Modellismo Più, is now in its third year and is a static modelling competition open to the following categories: open to the following categories:

The event will take place in pavilion D and is also open to those who are not taking part in the competition: admire the work of the competing modellers and shop at our specialised exhibitors!
The ticket costs 5 euros and can only be purchased at the box office.

Special contests and prizes
The watchword of Novegro Model Contest is “variety”. That is why there will also be special contests and prizes at the fair at the fair, in addition to those in the standard categories:
- Contest “1944 – The year of the landings” : models representing individuals who took part in the Normandy landings (and more)
- Contest “Conflicts in Europe 2014 – 2024”: models of subjects who have taken part in conflicts on European soil in the last 10 years
- Contest “Moto GP from 2002 to the present day”: category including all the bikes of the Moto GP championship since its foundation
- Italeri Speciali Prize: prize for the best Italeri model presented in each category (without distinction of scale)

3D printing: technical demonstration
Are you interested in the potential of 3D Printing applied to modelling?
At Novegro Model Contest, throughout Saturday and Sunday, technical experts will be present to demonstrate the main functions of the 3D printer in the area in front of the Modellismo Più stand.
Railway modelling
At Novegro Model Contest there will not only be static modelling: space will also be given to exhibitors specialising in N and H0 scale model railways!
Specifically, you will be able to purchase:
- locomotives
- wagons
- tracks
- landscape accessories
- more
In addition, you will be able to experience operating sessions on the FREMO Italia modular model railroad layout and attend the demonstration of Linea Secondaria focused on landscaping.
Gunpla Builders Veneto: weathering, mounting and painting demonstrations
There is always so much to learn in the world of static modelling. For this reason, at Novegro Model Contest you will be able to attend a series of demos by Gunpla Builders Veneto, that will delve into the following aspects:
- weathering
- mounting
- airbrush use and maintenance (with Simona Bordonaro)
- painting on models
- statue painting (with Barbara Palmieri)
- painting on figurines (with Davide Brugnettini, only on Sunday)
Demonstrations will be held both Saturday and Sunday throughout the day (except the one with Davide Brugnettini) and there will be an exhibition of various models made or painted by members of the association.
FREMO Italia: try the modular railway model layout!
Do you want to interact with a modular railway model layout and find out how to build it correctly?
For both days of Novegro Model Contest, the staff of the FREMO Italia association will be available to let visitors play with a modular model railway layout and answer any questions about the standard rules for creating one.
Linea Secondaria: vegetation, landscaping and terrain demo
Making people discover all the secrets related to vegetation, landscaping and terrain in the field of modelling.
That is the purpose of the demonstration held by Linea Secondaria at its stand at Novegro Model Contest!
The demo will take place at the following times:
- Saturday 6 April: 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- Sunday 7 April: 11:30 a.m.
