The demos will illustrate the main types of robots on the market, also explaining to visitors some concepts of today’s robotics.

Demonstrations and experiments with Tesla Coil

The Tesla coil is one of the most fascinating experiments in the history of science: a device capable of generating small lightning bolts and making electrical energy visible in action!

For this reason, Radiant will feature spectacular demonstrations dedicated to the extraordinary potential of this device, including the famous Columbus’ egg experiment.

The activities will take place on both Saturday and Sunday at the Libri Sandit stand and will be curated by Davide Munaretto.

In addition, Munaretto will guide the public on a journey of discovery through fascinating high-voltage experiments, transforming science into an engaging spectacle that is accessible to everyone.

“Formula 1 with Lego” exhibition by Francesco Frangioja

Do you like Lego?

At Radiant, you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for thanks to the presentation of the book ‘La Formula 1 con i Lego’ (Formula 1 with Lego) and the accompanying exhibition organised by Francesco Frangioja.

The exhibition, which will officially open at 3 p.m. on Saturday 17 January at the Libri Sandit stand, will feature 21 Formula 1 car models featured in the book.

These are faithful 1:27 scale reproductions, the result of the extraordinary design work of Luca “RoscoPC” Rusconi and built by Francesco Frangioja.

This exhibition, in particular, allows visitors to observe up close the technical evolution of the single-seaters that have made history, recreated with absolute technical precision.

Alongside the engineering rigour of Formula 1, the Sandit Libri stand will have a surprise in store for visitors, offering fun and nostalgia. The 12 iconic car models from Wacky Races.

These colourful cars, which faithfully reproduce the vehicles from the famous Hanna-Barbera cartoon, were designed by Lorenzo Crepaldi (co-author of the book of the same name published by Sandit) and built for the occasion by the brick enthusiasts of Piemonte Bricks LUG.

Robotics demonstrations

Robotics demonstrations by Prof. Raimondo Sgrò are a must at Radiant!

The demonstrations will be held on the morning of Sunday, 18 January, at the Libri Sandit stand, with the presentation of projects such as Lambda Uranus and Titanus.

Sgrò is a member of Elettra Robotics Lab, a non-profit association founded by a group of makers with the aim of promoting robotics as an element of study, leisure and work. To this end, he collaborates with various institutions, companies and schools. He has launched his own line of educational products, in particular the PoldinoBot robot kits, in various versions, and the PoldinoBoard line of boards and the latest addition, Elettrino. The association’s projects, particularly its humanoid robots, have been exhibited at numerous national and international events.
